ConVal’s Rosie Crooker was the top Cougar finisher at Crotched Mountain last week, taking fourth place in the slalom race.

Crooker finished in a combined 1:26.52, behind the Menards of Hollis-Brookline and Souhegan’s Olivia Bennett.

ConVal’s Ella Dishong wasn’t far behind, as she cracked the top 10 by finishing sixth in 1:27.7.

Jaclyn Clark was just outside the top 10, finishing 11th in 1:34.26.

Also finishing for ConVal were:

Marina McMahon (17th)

Jill Karlicek (23rd)

Anna Gombas (28th)

ConVal’s Noah Krason had the second-fastest run of the day in his first attempt in the boys’ race, but he missed a gate in the second run and ended up 24th. That opened up a spot for Wilton-Lyndeborough’s Ian Van Ham, who was the top local racer in the boys’ competition. Van Ham took seventh in 1:23.78.

ConVal’s top racers finished as a trio, as Keenan Wilson, Aiden Hall and Andrew Stockwell went 14-15-16.

Also finishing for ConVal were:

Reid Wilson (23rd)

Ryan Beal (26th)

Alex McCall (33rd)

Max Heck (43rd)

Liam McCall (46th)

ConVal’s final race before the state championships is Thursday at 3:30 p.m. at Crotched Mountain.
