RINDGE — Becky L. Rillings, 58, of Rindge, died Saturday, Aug. 21, 2010 after losing her battle with ovarian cancer, which she had been bravely fighting for eight months.
Rillings was born in Keene on Jan. 30, 1952, the daughter of Alton Chamberlain and Patricia Chickering. She was a 1969 graduate of Goffstown High School and after taking time to raise her family, she graduated from Hesser College in 1984 with a degree in accounting.
Rillings was the business manager at Chester College of New England before becoming the head bookkeeper at the Dublin School. While there she also performed many additional duties while keeping the best interests of the students in mind.
She is survived by her husband, Gregory Rillings of Rindge; her daughter, Jennifer Hunger of Concord; her sons, Douglas Jones of Antrim, Nathan Jones of Bedford, and Tyler Fitzgerald of Hooksett; seven grandchildren; her father, Alton Chamberlain of Harrisville; her mother, Patricia Vanderheide of Port St. Lucie, Fla.; her sisters, Tina Courtemanche of Pembroke, Wendy Vaillancourt of Pittsfield, N.H., and Debbie Phillipson of Keene; her brothers, Peter Chamberlain of Keene, Brian Chamberlain of Bedford, and Mark Chamberlain of Lyndeborough; and many nieces, nephews, cousins and close friends.
Family and friends are warmly invited to calling hours today from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the Cournoyer Funeral Home & Cremation Center at 33 River Street in Jaffrey.
A graveside service will take place on tomorrow at 10 a.m. at Hillside Cemetery on Goddard Road in Rindge.
