Antrim man owned auto alignment business

ANTRIM — Claude F. Grant, 58, of Antrim died Thursday Dec. 10, 2009, at his home.

Born in Peterborough, he was the son of Kenneth Grant of Hillsborough and Claudia (Sudsbury) Grant of Antrim.

Claude owned and operated his own business, “Antrim Alignment Center,” for many years, where he built his business around his hobby, a love of cars.

Claude always put the needs of others first. He was a self-taught drummer and played in bands throughout his life. Claude enjoyed the company of family and friends. His biggest joy was his two granddaughters.

He is survived by his wife of 25 years Patricia (Hammond) Grant, of Antrim; a son and daughter-in-law, Lance and Kathy Nazer of Charlton, Mass.; one daughter, Nicole Grant, of Hillsborough; three brothers, Kenneth Grant of Acworth, James Grant of Antrim, Terry Grant of Hillsborough; three sisters, Janet Rice of Hinsdale, June Fitzpatrick, of Hillsborough, Julie Kimball of Bennington; two granddaughters, Emily and Rebecca Nazer.

Services will be held Wednesday, Dec. 16, at 2 p.m. in the Presbyterian Church in Antrim. The Rev. Peggy Boyce, pastor, will officiate.

Burial will be at the convenience of the family.
