David Richardson

Ohio resident, 77, leaves family in Peterborough

BEAVERCREEK, Ohio — David Richardson, 77, of Beavercreek, Ohio, passed away on Friday, Jan. 29, 2010.

He was born on March 24, 1932, in Marlborough.

He was preceded in death by his wife of 54 years, Pauline D. Richardson; his parents, Ella (Porter) and Clifford Richardson; and his brothers, Robert, Clifford “Buddy” Howard and Herb Richardson. He is lovingly remembered by his children, Andrea (Jay) Kinsinger of Cedarville, Ohio; Kevin (Deborah) Horner-Richardson of Cornish and Julie (Mark) Molitoris of Kent, Ohio; his 11 grandchildren; his sister and brother-in-law Nancy and Duke Powell of Peterborough; many nieces and nephews.

David was a retired U.S. Air Force officer and also retired from the United Theological Seminary where he was the business manager for 10 years. He was an active member of St. Andrew United Methodist Church where he held the position of treasurer for 25 years. He was an avid golfer and enjoyed traveling with his wife.

A memorial service will be held at St. Andrew United Methodist Church, 350 S. Fairfield Road, Beavercreek, on Saturday, Feb. 6, at 11 a.m. The family will receive friends an hour before the service.
