MONTICELLO, Ga. — Dayna Marie Schacht, 23, of Monticello died on July 17, 2010.

She was born on Dec. 20, 1986, to Jeffrey Leon Kempson and Lucretia Kempson. She was preceded in death by a grandfather, Gerry Needham.

She is survived by her husband, USMC Sgt. Joel Schacht of Antrim; sons Landen and Benjamin Schacht; parents Jeff and Lucretia Kempson; brother Toby Kempson; sister Jennifer Kempson; grandparents Charlotte Needham and Ronnie and Joyce Kempson; uncles and aunts Alex and Cindy Simon, Amy and Rick Vickers and Jack and Sherry Barksdale; several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Funeral services will be conducted on Friday at 11 a.m. in the Chapel of Conner-Westbury Funeral Home, 1891 West McIntosh Road, Griffin, Ga. The Rev. Jerry Robertson will officiate. Interment will follow in Oak Hill Cemetery. Calling hours are today from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
