WASHINGTON — Edwin A. Greene Jr., of Washington and Vero Beach, Fla., died on May 7, 2010.
He was born in Providence, R.I., and lived in Smithfield, R.I., before moving to Washington.

He was the husband of Frances (Palazzo) Greene. He leaves two children, Melinda Bellows and her husband, Gary, of Warwick, R.I., and Allen E. Greene and his wife, Karina, of New York City; he was a devoted grandfather to one grandchild.

Services will be private.
