STAFFORD, Conn. — Frances (Cuddemi) DeNigris, 92, widow of Joseph DeNigris, entered into eternal peace on May 30, 2010, at Evergreen Health Care, Stafford, Conn.
Born Sept. 14, 1917, in Bennington, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Nunzi A. (Loikono) Cuddemi. Prior to making her home in Enfield, Frances resided in East Hartford for 50 years where she taught both English and home economics.
She enjoyed sewing, bowling, crossword puzzles and spending time at the Italian American Club in East Hartford.
A loving, mother, grandmother and great grandmother, Frances is survived by her children, Joel DeNigris and wife, Lucille, of Enfield, Conn., Robert DeNigris of Wilmington, Del., Albert DeNigris and wife, Glenda, of Minneapolis, Minn.; grandchildren Jay DeNigris and wife, Robin, Julie Gibson and husband, Jason; great grandchildren, Jolyn and Anthony DeNigris, Savannah and Quinn Gaston and Joel Gibson, all of Enfield.
She also leaves a sister, Josephine Wheeler of Peterborough.
Frances’s family will receive relatives and friends Friday, from 4 to 7 p.m. at Browne Memorial Funeral Chapels, 43 Shaker Rd. Enfield, Conn. A funeral procession to St. Martha’s Church will gather at 10 am on Saturday for an 11 a.m. Mass of Christian burial. Interment will be at the convenience of the family.
