GREENVILLE — Gemma M. Baillargeon, 87, a resident of Summerhill Assisted Living, Peterborough, formerly of Greenville, died May 19, 201, at Summerhill.
She was born in East Angus, Quebec, Canada on Dec. 5, 1922, the daughter of Arthur and Adelia (Croteau) Arguin. She lived in Greenville from 1950 to 1996 when she moved to Summerhill.
She was a member of LeClair-Caron-Pelletier American Legion Auxiliary for 49 years. She also enjoyed sewing, crocheting and bingo. She especially enjoyed being with her family.
She was predeceased by her husband, Patrick L. Baillargeon, who died in 1987, and by three brothers and one sister.
She is survived by two daughters, Joanne Bergeron of Greenville and Connie Hill of New Ipswich; three grandchildren; seven great-randchildren; a brother, Roland Arguin of Nashua, and a sister, Noella Paquette of Hudson.
A funeral mass was celebrated on Monday at the Sacred Heart of Jesus Church. Burial followed in the Sacred Heart of Jesus Cemetery, New Ipswich.
