Lauren Ann Villeneuve

HANCOCK — Lauren Ann Villeneuve, 21, went home to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on June 23, 2010, at Concord Hospital, five days after a drowning accident.
Lauren was born on March 29, 1989, in Keene, the daughter of Thomas and Kathleen (Keith) Villeneuve.

After graduating from high school in 2006, she went on to receive her certification as a licensed esthetician through the Concord Esthetics Institute. She was also a licensed nursing assistant, having trained at Crotched Mountain Rehabilitation Center.

While in high school she was a member of the chorus and enjoyed drama and creative writing. Lauren was gifted at making people laugh and loved filming her own creative and humorous videos. She was actively involved with Bethel Church in Hancock and its intercessory prayer and youth groups.

She is survived by her parents of Hancock; her older sister, Claire of North Swanzey; maternal grandparents, Donald and Ida Keith of Nashua; paternal grandmother Barbara Villeneuve of Sarasota, Fla; as well as aunts, uncles and cousins on both sides of the family.
The funeral will be held on Friday at 1 p.m. at Trinity Evangelical Church in Peterborough. Pastors Stephen Migotsky of Jaffrey Presbyterian Church and Will James of Bethel Church will officiate. Burial will follow in Hillside Cemetery, Hancock.

Lauren’s family wishes that any memorial gifts be made in the form of donations to the Youth Ministry of Bethel Church, 53 Elmwood Road, Hancock 03449.
