HARRISON, Ohio — Mary Cowman, 89, of Harrison, formerly of Hillsboro, Ohio, died May 27, 2010, at the Shawnee Spring Health Care Center, Harrison.

She was born in Cleveland, Ohio, Dec. 9, 1920, the daughter of Michael and Julia (Batin) Chaky.

Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Cowman, sister and brother-in-law, Julia and David Engel, and brother-in-law, Bob Neff.

She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Charles Jr. and Trudy Cowman of Woodbury, Minn., daughters and sons-in-law, Mary Cowman and Gene Zwolinski of Mohegan Lake, N.Y., Linda and Donald Cramb of Jaffrey, Nancy and Douglas Rohr of Harrison, and Diane and Jeffrey Geaslen of Apple Creek, Ohio; two sisters and brother-in-law, Katie Neff, and Irene and Fred Bashore; 12 grandchildren, Rudd Zwolinski, Andrew Cramb, Mary Cramb, Jennifer Cowman, Melissa Cowman, Christina Cowman, Ahleah Rohr, Maxwell Rohr, Joshua Geaslen, Benjamin Geaslen, Daniel Geaslen and Jole Geaslen; three great-grandchildren, Aaron, Seth and Caleb Geaslen.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday at 11 a.m. at the Thompson Funeral Home with Jeff Geaslen officiating.

Burial will follow in the Greenfield Cemetery.

Friends may call on Tuesday from 10 a.m. until services begin at the Thompson Funeral Home.
