Scott Edward Currier

KEENE — Scott Edward Currier, 38, died suddenly on May 24, 2010, at his residence.

He was born Oct. 27, 1971, in Concord, son of Dorothy L. (Leipine) Currier of Peterborough and the late Richard Pearl, formerly of Concord.

He grew up in Dublin and Peterborough and attended schools in the ConVal district.

He was a skilled equipment operator and worked in various construction fields.

He was known for being quick with a smile, and always willing to help out in any situation. He loved the outdoors, especially being near the lake or ocean, and was always up for any adventure. He had a passion for music and played the guitar. He loved spending time with all of his many friends. He also cherished time spent with his family.

He is survived by his three sons, Michael A. Currier, Caleb J. Currier, Hayden R. Currier, and his daughter,Kailey N. Currier. He is also survived by his mother, Dorothy L. Currier of Peterborough; two brothers, Fred Currier and his wife, Janice, of Cookeville Tenn., and Russell Currier and his wife, Lanette, of Dutton Va.; a sister, Pam Currier of Keene; many nieces and nephews and extended family members.

There will be no calling hours.

A memorial service will be held June 12 at Edward MacDowell Dam at 2 p.m.
