Family life theme of speaker series

A spring speaker series on Family Life sponsored by Divine Mercy Parish will begin March 25, from 7 to 8 p.m.

Dr. Kathryn Kachavos, a retired psychiatrist, will discuss “Cultural Values: Using Family Language to Understand and Respond.”

Dr. Kachavos has 35 years experience in the areas of family life, child and adolescent development, and public advocacy. Her work with the Children’s Lobby involves evaluating legislation affecting children and families.

The talk will address the interface between families and contemporary culture, considering ways to understand and integrate cultural impacts.

The free talk is open to the public and will be held at St. Peter Church.
