Book signing for Waldorf author
Torin Finser, an internationally known speaker and consultant on Waldorf education and chair of the Antioch University New England (AUNE) Department of Education, will sign his new book, “A Second Classroom: Parent-Teacher Relationships in a Waldorf School,” on May 16, at 4 p.m.
Finser’s book explores the relationship between teachers and parents in all its dimensions, from parent conferences, to communication and conflict. It includes practical advice as well as discussion of the deeper, spiritual dimension. He is the author of seven other books.
The signing is cosponsored by the Monadnock Waldorf School in Keene and will take place in AUNE’s downstairs lobby. The event coincides with In Bloom: Promising Practices in Nature-Based Early Childhood Education, a one-day conference being held at AUNE on May 16.
