‘All in Good Fun’ at the Players

The Peterborough Players has announced that it will add “All in Good Fun” to its 2014 season for Sept. 17 -21. This play replaces the previously announced “Hold These Truths.”

This 2013 United Solo Festival Bestseller was developed by Talene Monahon, a 2013 Second Company member seen in “Seagull” and “Snow White,” during her time at Dartmouth College as a theatrical snapshot into the social environment of college today.

It is a story all too common in the news today: a well-respected college, praised for safe and happy campus life, is suddenly exposed for hidden Greek-life hazing and sexual assault scandals. “All in Good Fun” uses the words of more than 25 students, faculty and alumni of Dartmouth College to shed light on the paradox of school spirit and outrage these scandals expose. Developed and performed by Talene Monahon, this theatrical documentary opens a window into collegiate life to uncover the darkness brushed off as ‘all in good fun.’
