Tracy Grammer performing June 13
Folksinger Tracy Grammer will be in concert at the Federated Church in Marlborough on June 13.
Known not only for her alto voice, but for her mastery of the violin and guitar, Grammer blends her music with storytelling.
Recording on Red House Records, Grammer’s “Little Blue Egg” was the Number 1 album played on Folk Radio in 2012. She also was voted that year as the Number 1 listener favorite on Folk Alley.
Joining Grammer will be Jim Henry, a Vermont-based singer, songwriter, arranger and producer. Among other string instruments, he plays acoustic and electric guitar, mandolin and dobro.
Henry, who does both solo and sideman work, appears with Grammer on “One-Horse Town,” and has played with Mary Chapin Carpenter.
Tickets are $15 in advance and $20 at the door for the 7 p.m. performance.
