Outdoorsman to discuss his ‘Allagash Tails’ at the Peterborough library

Outdoorsman Tim Caverly will be at the library Tuesday to discuss his “Allagash Tails” collection of books, and to talk about the Allagash Wilderness Waterway, one of the nation’s most notable wild and scenic rivers.

Caverly has spent his life in Maine’s outdoors. Originally from Skowhegan, he has worked as a ranger at Sebago Lake State Park and as manager of Aroostock and Cobscook Bay state parks, as well as regional supervisor of the Allagash Wilderness Waterway.

His presentation will include music, scenic and historic photographs, as well as stories of his personal experiences while living in the Maine woods.

The program will begin at 7 p.m. in meeting room. For more information, call 924-8040.
