Monadnock Conservancy receives new website
Monadnock Conservancy is the most recent beneficiary of the Design for Good challenge offered by InHaus Media, a Peterborough-based web design and marketing firm.
The challenge supports local 501(c)(3) nonprofit organizations by providing pro bono website and video creation services, valued at up to $5,000. The conservancy is a land trust for southwestern New Hampshire that works with communities and landowners to conserve the natural resources, wild and working lands, rural character and scenic beauty of the region.
InHaus Media launched its Design for Good challenge in 2007 to provide new or redesigned websites and video services to area nonprofit organizations that would otherwise be unable to afford these vital communication tools. InHaus Media selects winning applicants based upon short essays or videos that they submit to describe what they do and why, or how a new website or video would help their organization succeed.
Monadnock Conservancy had been operating with a website that was created in 2005. The site was no longer meeting the organization’s communications goals and was missing many of the features that today’s web users have come to expect.
A few past challenge winners include: the Grapevine Family & Community Resource Center, Antrim and the River Center FACT Book Online, Peterborough.
