Behind-the-scenes tour of the Peterborough library, April 17

The Peterborough Town Library will offer a behind-the-scenes tour Wednesday at 4 p.m.

The “Stairway to Nowhere” is just one of several interesting stops on the tour of the library. Marcia Patten, chair of the library trustees, will lead folks on a walk-through.

“From bottom to top and back again, this guided visit is a great chance to find out the history, mysteries, resources, and quirks of our current facility,” says Marcia Patten. “The facility has been patched together from the 1890s, 1950s and 1970s to create today’s building.”

It is not necessary to sign up. For more information, call 924-8040 or email
