‘Phantom of the  ‘Opera’ screening  May 19

The Peterborough Players will bring Andrew Lloyd Webber and Cameron Mackintosh’s history-making “The Phantom of the Opera” to the big screen on May 19 at 1 p.m.

The event is being held in honor of the production’s 25th anniversary

This special event features more than 200 cast members, orchestra musicians and luminaries who have been involved with “Phantom” over the past 25 years.

“Phantom” is Broadway’s longest-running show and has been seen by more than 100 million people worldwide.

The fully-staged production was filmed in the Royal Albert Hall in October 2011 and is no longer available to the public for viewing.

The theater is handicapped accessible and is equipped with a hearing assistance system.
