Children and the Arts seeks volunteers
The 20th annual Children and the Arts Festival is looking for volunteers.
Children and the Arts is a nonprofit organization whose mission is to offer free art experiences to children in the Monadnock region. Circus performers, student musicians and artists, as well as local artists are called upon to spend a day sharing their passion with the community. This year’s theme is “Puppet-Palooza.”
On May 18 from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., the Children and the Arts Committee needs approximately 35 adult volunteers to assist in preparing and breaking down indoor and outdoor venues, as well as volunteers to carry one of the giant puppets during the parade at noon.
All volunteers are asked to wear an orange Children and the Arts volunteer T-shirt during their work time. Volunteers work an hour or the full day. For more information, contact committee member Felice Fullam at 502-8566. All volunteers should check in with Felice at volunteer headquarters located in front of the Historical Society building.
