Air Force Airman Dylan Whitcomb graduated from basic military training at Joint Base San Antonio-Lackland, San Antonio, Texas in October. The airman completed an intensive, eight-week program that included training in military discipline and studies, Air Force core values, physical fitness, and basic warfare principles and skills. Airmen who complete basic training earn four credits toward an associate in applied science degree through the Community College of the Air Force. Whitcomb graduated from Security Forces technical training in January, top ten in his class with a distinguished graduate certificate for outstanding academic achievement also at Joint Base San Antonio-Lackland. He is a 2013 graduate of Mascenic Regional High School, New Ipswich.
