Monadnock United Way names two to board
The Monadnock United Way has named Andy Robinson and Bill Stevens to its Board of Directors.
Robinson is Vice President for Student Affairs at Keene State College. In this capacity he supervises most of the non-academic student services and support functions. He has been at the college since moving to Keene in 1991 to take a position as Associate Dean for Student Development.
Robinson holds a B.A. in English from Allegheny College as well as an M.S. in Education and a PhD in Counseling, both from Syracuse University. He is a graduate of the Leadership New Hampshire class of 2010.
Stevens was born in Keene and raised in neighboring Swanzey. After graduation from Monadnock Regional High School in 1987, he attended Keene State College as a non-matriculated student while beginning his career as an Assistant Manager at Aubuchon Hardware in Winchester. He was promoted to Store Manager and subsequently moved to Ware, Mass., where he remained for eight years. He moved back home to the Keene area and worked at Brown and Roberts ACE Hardware in Bellows Falls, Vt.
In May of 2006, he joined WorldWide Computer Solutions in Keene as Director of Sales and Marketing. He has served the Keene and Bellows Falls communities through numerous organizations and positions including the Keene Rotary Club, Bellows Falls Downtown Development Alliance, Parks Place Community Resource Center, and the Vermont Make-A-Wish Foundation. Bill has served the Monadnock United Way as Campaign Team Captain, Allocations Committee Member 2010-2012 and Allocations Committee Chairperson for 2013.
