Rotary selects  new members

David DeWitt and Dale Gabel are the newest members of Monadnock Rotary Club, a service group of community leaders that meets weekly.

Gabel retired from the United States Coast Guard (USCG) in 2009 after 38 years of distinguished service. He holds degrees from the USCG Academy, the University of Michigan, and the United States Naval War College. He is the past President of the American Society of Naval Engineers and Trustee of the U.S. Coast Guard Academy. Gabel now lives in Dublin with his wife, Shelley, working as an independent maritime consultant and serving as a member of Dublin’s Budget Committee.

DeWitt of Dublin has worked in manufacturing for CR Bard, Ames Colorfile, and Millipore where he was Plant Manager. His education includes degrees in Mechanical Engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute. He and his wife, Judy, have operated a variety of manufacturing businesses in Peterborough, including Time Frame, Inc.

The Club meets on Tuesday mornings at 7:30 a.m. in the basement of the Dublin Community Church for breakfast, fellowship, and to learn from speakers on a broad array of interesting topics.
