American Steel wins project of year

The Steel Erectors Association of America has announced the winners of its 2012 Project of the Year Awards. American Steel & Precast Erectors of Greenfield was one of three companies to earn this distinction.

American Steel & Precast Erectors won in Class I for their work on the North Trail Pedestrian Bridge in Keene.

All eligible projects were required to have been topped out in 2012 and completed without any significant accidents or injuries. These companies received their awards at the 2013 SEAA Convention & Trade Show in New Orleans in March.

The Steel Erectors Association of America is dedicated to advancing the common interests and needs of all companies engaged in building with steel.

The association promotes workplace safety, provides education and training programs for steel erector trades, develops industry standards, and promotes cooperation with others on activities that impact the commercial construction business.
