New England Patriots All-Pro defensive lineman Vince Wilfork, his wife Bianca, and teammates Justin Francis and Marcus Forston visited EMD Millipore’s Jaffrey facility on Wednesday to thank employees for their contributions to the Vince Wilfork Foundation.

Employees at the Jaffrey location donated the most funds of all EMD Millipore New England sites during his fall “Tackle Diabetes” campaign.

The Vince Wilfork Foundation funds critical research at several leading diabetes institutions, including Joslin Diabetes Center in Boston and the Diabetes Research Institution in Florida.

Last year, EMD Millipore committed to provide $300,000 to the foundation over the next three years. A number of products from Millipore’s Multiplex line are used in diabetes research.
