Adams, Pennington join MDS board
Monadnock Developmental Services has named two new members to its board of directors.
Nancy Adams of Hancock brings financial expertise and her community connections to the board. Recently retired after 38 years in banking in Peterborough, she now owns and operates the Hancock Market. Adams served on the Greater Peterborough Chamber board for many years, and was the Chamber’s Business Leader of the Year in 2003. Adams is a charter member of the Peterborough Kiwanis Club, serving in all board positions at one time or another. She lives in Hancock.
Richard Pennington is an attorney who has practiced law for more than 25 years with significant litigation, family law and general practice experience. He also brings accounting, planning and public policy skills to the MDS Board. He is currently serves on the board of the Contoocook Housing Trust, and has been on the board of the Monadnock Community Early Learning Center, the Grapevine and the Peterborough Economic Development Authority. A native of Tulsa, Okla., Pennington moved to New Hampshire in 1993, and now lives in Peterborough.
