Crotched names Bruch to post

Crotched Mountain Rehabilitation Center has named Frederick R. Bruch, Jr. M.D., FACP, CPE as medical director of the Specialty Hospital.

Bruch comes to Crotched Mountain from Dartmouth Hitchcock Keene and the Cheshire Medical Center where he had worked as an internist and hospital medicine physician since 1991.

He served as chairman of the Department of Internal Medicine/Hospital Medicine from 2004-2012. He also served as the compliance officer for Dartmouth Hitchcock Keene and the Cheshire Medical Center.  

Bruch also served as U.S. Navy General Medical Officer in Guam and in Norfolk, Va.

Bruch received his medical degree from Albany Medical College. He completed his internal medicine residency training at Eastern Virginia Graduate School of Medicine in Norfolk and at Bethesda Naval Hospital.

Bruch has been a Fellow in the American College of Physicians since 1993. He earned a Certified Physician Executive (CPE) designation from the American College of Physician Executives in 2012. He is board certified in internal medicine and as a certified physician executive.
