Financial planner completes training
Louise Remillard of Ames Planning Associates has completed the Registered Paraplanner Professional Designation Program through the College for Financial Planning in Denver, Colo.
Remillard joined the staff at Ames Planning in September 2012 and is now a registered paraplanner at the Peterborough-based fiduciary wealth management firm.
The Registered Paraplanner Professional Designation Program provides in-depth knowledge of financial planning, including the financial planning process, financial statements and cash flow management, time value of money, equities and debt instruments and tax planning. Individuals who earn the designation have completed an internship, passed a financial planning exam, and signed a code of ethics and disclosure form.
Remillard holds a Bachelor of Science degree in mathematics from the University of New Hampshire in Durham and worked in the medical and education fields prior to joining Ames Planning.
