Reider to lead unit  on eating disorders

Walden Behavioral Care, LLC, one of the country’s leading hospitals for treating eating disorders, has named Stephen E. Reider, R.N. of Jaffrey as Director of Nursing and Assistant Vice President of Patient Care Services.

Reider is responsible for providing 24-hour accountability for the administrative and clinical operations of Walden’s psychiatric and eating disorder units. In addition, he is responsible for financial management, strategic goal planning, human resource management, and departmental and interpersonal communications.

He comes to Walden from Day Kimball Healthcare, Putnam, Conn., where he was the Director of Behavioral Health Services. Previously, he was the Director of the Center for Psychiatry at Vanguard Health Systems/St. Vincent Hospital in Worcester, Mass.
