Sequoya donates $700 to Place to Go

Sequoya Technologies Group President Tom Strickland presented a $700 check to The Place to Go on Oct. 1.

The Place to Go offers the state’s only free after-school program, Kids Together. Located in Peterborough, Place to Go, Kids Together has provided a safe environment for children in Grades 3-8 since 1996. Their program supports approximately 40 children from the Peterborough area, meeting for three sessions every week.

“Our mission is to provide an opportunity, at no cost, for children to attain support, structure and confidence in a positive and caring after-school program. The money so generously donated by Sequoya will be used to offset the cost of maintaining our contact management system,” said Sue Blanchette, President and Treasurer of the Place to Go.

The $700 donation was made through Sequoya’s charitable giving initiative, the Sequoya Seeds program. Since its inception in 2007, Sequoya Seeds has donated and pledged over $80,000 to several nonprofits throughout New Hampshire
