Pinetree Cable set to end operations in Rindge

November 23rd 2009 at 06:14:21 PM

RINDGE -- Pinetree Cable will no longer be offering television and Internet services to the town of Rindge, or any other town, after Nov. 30.

Citing difficulties arising from last year's ice storm, the company sent an e-mail to town officials stating it will cease operations.

"At this time, it does not appear that another company will take over its service," said Rindge Town Administrator Carlotta Pini on Monday.

More about the decision in Tuesday's Ledger-Transcript.
