A Journey Through Jazz at RiverMeadRiverMead Performing Arts Committee will host a concert on Sunday, November 1, 2009 at 2:30 PM in the RiverMead Auditorium.The Journey Through Jazz all star jazz band will present a program of popular swing and jazz music of the 1930?s and the 1940?s. Familiar tunes from the American Song Book, including many requested by RiverMead residents, will be presented. The Journey Through Jazz Band features some of America?s greatest jazz musicians including, Bob Gallo, Jeff Galindo, Steve Dale, Mark Carlen, Les Harris, Dave Whitney as the featured guest artist and leader Chuck Stevenson. The concert is open to the public and free of charge.

In the cast are Wendy Almeida, Catherine Behrens, Frank Behrens, Nan Bigelow, Jazmine Carroll, Jenny Holan, Aaron Howland, PeggyRae Johnson, Carrie Kidd, Ray Mahoney, Marilyn Parpan-Tullgren, Dan Patterson, Marilyn Simons, Bert Torsey, and Don Wilmeth.
