A ‘knight’ we will remember
To the editor:
The Knights of Columbus Council 8544 from St. Patrick Church in Jaffrey would like to thank all those involved with the “Knight of Talent” Show that was held in November. Because of the support of those in attendance at the dinner and show, the Knights raised over $1,500, which went to support local charities, especially the following: St. Patrick School, Jaffrey Rindge Destination Imagination teams, St. Patrick Church Outreach, Jaffrey and Rindge Food Pantries, Perfect Peace, Boy Scout Troop 33 and Shelter From The Storm.
Thanks to the Sisters of Mercy for the baked goods, Joleen Little and her team who decorated the stage, to our team of judges: Diane Stolar, John Sepe and Joe Johnson, QueViva Fitness LLC for their sound system, and all the Knights and their families. Please support our donors as we thank them for the raffle prizes: Savron Graphics, Family Dollar, Heartline Stove Shop, Jaffrey Pizza Barn, Red’s of Jaffrey, Party Lite Candles and Gifts – Mark and Jennifer Stone, Coll’s Garden Center, Avon – Helen Stone, Sunflowers Restaurant, Roy’s Framing, Ken and Joleen Little, TD Bank, Dunkin Donuts, Country Café, Monadnock Inn, Shattuck Golf Course, Peoples United Bank, Dollar General and Subway.
