Country Club open for sledding
The Monadnock Country Club is open for sledding again this winter. The course will be open to the public from for sledding, cross-country skiing and snow shoe enthusiasts. With this early snow, many have been sledding already, and this base should provide a long season for winter fun.
The club’s heated porch is no longer open to the public for hot chocolate and refreshments; however, it will be available to rent and reserve by groups for private gatherings after outside activities. Call Bev at 924-7769 for rental availability. Check out www.monadnockcc.com for more details. The course is open daily for winter activities from dawn to dusk as long as there is sufficient snow cover. Course closings will be posted at the entrance to the club. Safety rules are posted and the greens are roped off. Snowmobiles are not allowed.
