Conservation talk on climate change
The Monadnock Chapter of Trout Unlimited is sponsoring a discussion by Biologists Eric Orff and Loren Valliere of the National Wildlife Federation.
Orff and Valliere strongly agree that the biggest conservation issue we’re all facing is climate change. They will discuss current research that includes serious declines in moose and shrimp populations, movement trends in bird species, problems with cold water streams and trout, and the many signs of climate change effects.
The meeting is free and open to the public. The Monadnock Trout Unlimited meeting will be Thursday, starting at 6:30 at the lower level of the Dublin Public Library.
