Hancock

Trip to Kenya presented Jan. 30

Kin Schilling will offer a presentation on her two-week trip to Kenya at the Hancock Town Library Jan. 30, at 7 p.m.

In October Schilling, who had always dreamed of going to Africa, participated in a “Me to We” program, which offers trips that allow individuals or families to explore new cultures and give back through volunteer opportunities.

Schilling is the founder and farm-to-school coordinator for the Cornucopia Project. She lives in Hancock with six sheep, two donkeys, 23 chickens and one dog.

The program is free and open to all. For more information, call the library at 525-4411.
