Ministry helped across globe

To the editor:

We are very grateful to all of the people in the Monadnock area for their generous support of New Wineskin ministries over this past year.

Because of you we were able to send ministry teams to El Salvador, Guatemala, Haiti, Honduras, Ireland, Kenya, Nicaragua, Nigeria, and twice to the Dominican Republic, as well as to the Houston, Texas, crisis to minister with their food bank and to New Jersey with Samaritan’s Purse to rebuild two homes that were destroyed by Hurricane Sandy. Your help also allowed us to send much needed help around the world: dozens of care boxes to Syrian refugee children in Iraq; 821 pairs of shoes that you donated in the Soles4Souls boxes for the people of Haiti; numerous sales benefiting Jericho Ministries in Honduras for sewing items that give the women gainful employment away from the dangerous streets of Tegucigalpa; as well as financial support to missionaries in Colombia, the Dominican Republic, Indonesia, Israel, Japan, Kenya, Micronesia, Panama, South Africa and Uganda.

Your help also allowed us to continue to give financial support to 2 local young people to go to Christian colleges, to take Christmas gifts to the residents of Friendship Manor and 24 homes in New Ipswich, and to regularly minister in the prison in Concord, as well as to dozens of people who are mentally ill or shut-in or in need of rehabilitative services in New Hampshire and Massachusetts. Thus we are very appreciative of all of your support, which allows our small congregation to prayerfully minister to so many people both near and far.
