Lions raise $1,000 for food pantry

The Souhegan Lions Club continued its support of the St. Vincent de Paul food pantry, with a donation of over $1,000.

The money came from individual donations at the group’s annual Christmas party, with the donations being matched by the club.

The Food Bank serves the towns of Greenville, New Ipswich, Mason and Temple and continues to seek donations, especially with the overall decrease in food donations in New Hampshire.
