Two men indicted on theft charged

Jarod Kot, 25, of New Ipswich and Talon Facteau, 23, formerly of Jaffrey, were indicted on charges of burglary by a Cheshire County grand jury on Jan. 27. Both men were scheduled to be arraigned on Feb. 5, but Kot’s arraignment was postponed due to snow until Feb. 7. Kot failed to appear, and an arrest warrant has been issued. Facteau appeared for his arraignment by video from the Cheshire House of Corrections, where he was being held.

The indictments came after a year-long police investigation into a June 2013 burglary of a home on Old New Ipswich Road in Rindge, where thousands in cash, credit cards and electronic devices were stolen.
