Hilltop Circus performs this weekend

The 19th annual Hilltop Circus will be presented by Pine Hill Waldorf School’s 7th and 8th grade students at the school on Friday and Saturday.

“Circus is a Wonderland!” will feature exotic creatures, strong men, jugglers, magic, skilled acrobats and feats of daring.

This year’s circus is directed by veteran circus performer, producer and teacher Sara Greene who continues the work of Hilltop Circus founder Jacqueline Davis in leading students in conceptualizing, producing and performing.

Greene will collaborate with longtime Hilltop Circus Band director and composer Leslie Vogel, who brings with her the Youth and Community Fiddle Orchestra, playing music she has composed and arranged.

Performances are scheduled for 7 p.m. on Feb. 28 and 10 a.m. and 4 p.m. on March 1. The show is suitable for all ages.

Tickets are $12 for adults and $6 for children ages 3-12. Tickets are available at the Toadstool Shop in Milford and Putnam’s Clothing in Wilton, online at www.pinehill.org/hilltop2014 or at the door.
