Waterhouse partners with The Place to Go

The Waterhouse Restaurant in Depot Square, Peterborough, is partnering with The Place to Go/Kids Together every Tuesday for the month of March in support of the only free after-school program in the Monadnock Region.

Waterhouse will donate 10 percent of their proceeds each Tuesday during the month of March to Kids Together, a 501c3 non-profit program.

The final Tuesday — March 25 — will wrap up the month with a special “March Madness Championship Party” featuring a Mad Hatter Hat Contest.

People are invited to don a hat and enter the “All-star Hat Contest.” Alice in Wonderland and her fellow judges will be looking through her glass, to find the person who will win the different brackets with the best hat creation.

There will also be prizes awarded for the most original hat, most in-character with the Wonderland theme, and the funniest hat. Prizes donated by Sarah’s Hat Boxes.

Everyone is encouraged to join in the fun — attend and support with or without wearing a hat. Bare heads are most welcome.

Local celebrities will be acting as judges.

Sue Blanchette, president of TPTG/Kids Together: “We hope that everyone will give it a full court press and join us for a fun evening...not only on March 25th, but to enjoy a night out at The Waterhouse every Tuesday in the month.”

“The organization is feeling the challenge of funding, especially this year, so this assist is most welcome,” adds Blanchette.
