Snowboarder airlifted after accident at Crotched Mountain

A snowboarder was airlifted to a hospital on Wednesday after being injured in an accident at Crotched Mountain Ski and Ride. The ski area’s general manager, Pat Terry, said the accident occurred in the morning and the snowboarder, who Terry said was a young male adult, was airlifted by a Dartmouth-Hitchcock Advanced Response Team helicopter. Terry did not know the extent of the snowboarder’s injuries or what hospital he had been taken to.
