Hancock police have arrested and charged a Barrington man with being a fugitive from justice in Tennessee. Thomas Cuccia, 32, is wanted for felony theft in Tennessee.

He’s being held at the Hillsborough County House of Corrections.

At 11:30 a.m., a Longview Road resident reported suspicious people going door-to-door, selling leftover asphalt. While investigating the complaint, police learned the driver, Cuccia, was wanted in Tennessee.

More details in Tuesday's Ledger-Transcript.
