Community made fundraiser happen
To the editor:
The Executive Committee of Dublin Community Preschool and Childcare Center would like to thank everyone who helped make our annual Children’s Art Show on May 1 a success.
As always, our small teaching staff went above and beyond their daily duties to make this event come together. Our students’ parents, family members and friends volunteered their time to set up the art displays in the weeks leading up to the show. Ragged Edge Realty graciously allowed us the use of exhibition space in Dublin Village Park. Too many local businesses and friends to name individually — from Merrimack to the Vermont border, and especially in Dublin and Peterborough — donated valuable goods and services for our raffle and silent auction.
Thanks to the generosity of all of the above, guests had a wonderful evening celebrating children’s creativity and we raised more than $1,000 for the school.
As DCP serves children from towns across the Monadnock region, we are extremely grateful, and find it fitting, to know that so many of our neighbors in southern New Hampshire support what we do, making the “community” in our school’s name truly meaningful.
