Friday, May 16
Accident: At 3:04 p.m., a 2011 GMC pickup driven by Hannah Brown, 23, of Temple ran into the back of a 2008 Jeep Liberty, driven by Scott Sweeney, age unknown, of Ashby, Mass., as both vehicles were turning off Route 202 South onto Route 101 East. The drivers told police there was no damage and they exchanged information.
Arrest: At 3:52 p.m., police responded to a Granite Street residence for a report of a domestic dispute between a father and his son. Police determined it was a verbal dispute and the son had left the residence. The son, Alex Bourgoine, 22, of Peterborough, was arrested later in the day by Rindge police on a bench warrant charging him with failure to appear on a Peterborough case for simple assault. Bourgoine was taken to Valley Street Jail in Manchester in lieu of $1,000 cash bail. He later pleaded not guilty and was released on $5,000 personal recognizance, with a June 16 court date.
Saturday, May 17
Missing children: At 12:48 p.m., police received reports of two children who were missing at the Children and the Arts festivities. Both children were located and reunited with parents.
Accident: At 12:57 p.m., a 2005 Ford truck driven by Aaron Blanchette, 50, of Hancock hit a parked 2004 Jeep Cherokee belonging to Cheryl Rosenthal, 54, of Milford on Vale Street. The driver’s side mirror on the Jeep was broken. Insurance information was exchanged.
Accident: At 1:18 p.m., a Temple man reported that someone hit his 2007 Lincoln MKX while it was parked on Concord Street. Police contacted a Rindge woman who stated she knew nothing about hitting anything, but would stop in at the police station. Insurance information was exchanged.
Sunday, May 18
Burglary report: At 12:50 p.m., police opened an investigation after a resident reported items missing from an Old Bennington Road home.
Arrest: At 5:52 p.m., an officer stopped a vehicle on Grove Street Extension because the officer knew the registered owner had a suspended driver’s license. Nathan Grant, 46, of Peterborough was arrested and charged with operating after suspension. He was released on $1,000 personal recognizance with a June 30 court date.
Theft report: At 7:49 p.m., an Antrim resident reported items had been stolen from Putnam Park.
Arrests: At 7:50 p.m., police went to the Big Apple store on Route 101 after getting a report of two men causing a disturbance. The men were uncooperative, loud and swearing and refused to calm down. Police arrested David Truglia, 28, of Cutchogue, N.Y., and charged him with disorderly conduct. He was released on $2,500 personal recognizance with a June 30 court date. Police also arrested Brett Keller, 28, of Riverhead, N.Y., after using a Taser to subdue him. Keller was charged with disorderly conduct and resisting arrest. He was released on $2,500 personal recognizance with a June 30 court date.
