Volunteer Day at Cornucopia Garden
The Cornucopia Project will be holding an all-day volunteer day on Saturday, May 31st from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Cornucopia Community Garden on Elm Street.
All skill levels are welcome to pitch in to build 10 additional raised beds that will provide additional space for vegetables grown for the food pantry. Special thanks to United Natural Foods, Inc. for sponsoring the new beds, a produce scale and an irrigation system!
The bed-building is just one of the many projects happening throughout the day. Visitors are welcome to stop in to view the progress and say hello to our generous volunteers.
For more information on how you can help, please contact Joyce at firstname.lastname@example.org, or call the Cornucopia Office at 784-5069. The Cornucopia Project is a nonprofit organization planting the seeds for a lifetime of healthy eating through school and community garden education programs.
