Charrette is not a good idea
To the editor:
To the residents of New Ipswich: Word has it that there is a “charrette” happening this coming September in your town. I can’t say what the residents of New Ipswich want in their town since I do not live there, but you better pay close attention to what this may mean for your town. It can, and will change the face of New Ipswich forever.
You must attend this “charrette” and have your voices heard. If you don’t want to be tied to federal strings that always come with accepting HUD grant monies, your only option is to attend in September and tell them no. It looks like you have received $5,000 in grant monies already. That is just the start. At least it was in Rindge.
Plan NH is doing this throughout New Hampshire. More and more towns are saying no to these dangerous plans. I started Save Our Town in Rindge, and have a lot of valuable information, and resources for you if you are interested in stopping this before it gets too far. Again, you may or may not want this in your town.
We in Rindge resoundingly said no after learning more about it. You can too. I’m in the phone book, feel free to contact me. I record all conversations so there are no misunderstandings.
