Police: Juvenile pulled knife

Jaffrey police arrested a minor involved in a fight Tuesday afternoon.

The 13-year-old boy was taken into custody after he allegedly pulled out a knife during a fight with other juveniles in the area of Howard Hill Road.

Police said one person was injured as a result of the incident reported around 4:30 p.m. Tuesday. Police said the 13-year-old minor cut another in the hand with the knife.

Police reports state that the cut was about two inches wide and was not bleeding significantly when officers arrived on scene.

The 13-year-old was taken into custody and released to his mother later the same day. Police issued a juvenile petition, and charged the youth with second-degree assault.
