Thanks, attendees of library meeting
To the editor:
I want to personally thank all who attended 1833’s Annual Meeting at the Peterborough Town Library on Monday, June 16. The fact that so many attendees chose to forgo the outdoors on a beautiful, hint of summer day, speaks to the assertion that in this community, support for our library is strong. A special thanks goes out to Peter Robinson and Roy’s Market for catering our event.
At our meeting we heard remarks from Corinne Chronopoulos, our new library director, and we announced that Centerline Architects of Bennington, Vt., will be the architects for our Library of the Future Project. For those not familiar with our organization, we are a federal 501 (c)(3) nonprofit recognized as a public charity. Our mission is to assist in the design of a new or renovated library, and to raise funds for its construction. We encourage readers to visit us at www.1833society.org to learn more. Those who wish to sign up to receive news about the library and about our project should visit www.peterboroughtownlibrary.org. Our mailing address is c/o PTL, 2 Concord St., Peterborough, NH 03458
