Friday concerts begin July 11

A series of Friday evening concerts in Depot Park will be sponsored by Twelve Pine Cafe and Depot Square beginning July 11.

The first concert will be a Celtic Session led by well-known fiddler Randy Miller with many local musicians joining him. On July 18 saxophonist Paul Klemperer will return playing with Max Nunnemaker on bass, Spencer Peery on guitar, Joe Bartlett on drums and Gordon Peery on keyboard.

Pati Cloutier & the Peterborough All-Star Band will perform on July 25. Being joined by Ken Cloutier on bass guitar, Jeremy Brown on keyboard, Paul Stowell on drums and Kenny Hamshaw on lead guitar, the band will play a wide range of styles suitable for dancing.

On Aug. 1, Rich Greenblatt, Boston-based jazz vibraphonist will be accompanied by Draa Hobbs on guitar, Wayne Roberts on bass, and Tim Gilmore on drums. John Kordalewski will return on Aug. 8 performing jazz on keyboard.

All concerts are from 6 to 7:30 p.m. and are free and open to the public. In case of rain, concerts will be held inside the cafe dining area of Twelve Pine.
